    Here are a few pictures of my 1980 Triumph TR8 convertible. It's Posieden green
    with approximately 57K miles.




    Engine and Exhaust:
    block honed (had no ridge or taper)
    heads cleaned, new valve guides, hand lapped for clean up
    new bearings and rings
    new water pump
    Edelbrock 500 CFM AFB 4 barrel carb (tuned via wide band O2)
    Edelbrock Performer Rover Intake Manifold (powder-coated)
    Erson hydraulic flat tappet cam (Woody Cooper grind)
    288/280 degrees advertised duration (214/208 @ 0.050)
    0.464"/0.448" lift
    111 lobe separation angle
    adjustable pushrods
    new OEM spec valve springs
    Cloyes double roller timing chain
    T/A Performance oil pump booster plate and adjustable oil pressure regulator
    Mallory Unilite electronic distributor with vacuum advance and active power filter
    MSD 6AL multi-strike ignition box with rev-limiter and Blaster 2 coil
    stainless steel dual exhaust with tri-y headers (Thermo-tec wrapped) and O2 sensor bung

    Steering and Suspension:
    manual rack and pinion steering
    Compomotive CXR 15" rims
    205/50/15 Falken Azenis RT615 tires
    new ball joints and tie rods
    stiffer/lower springs
    KYB struts and shocks
    polyurethane bushings
    needle bearing strut pivot kit
    larger front and rear sway bars
    strut tower brace

    Transmission and Rear End:
    3.45:1 ring and pinion installed
    axle bearings and seals replaced
    shifter bushings replaced
    GM Syncromesh fluid
    new pressure plate, clutch disc, and throwout bearing

    A/C and power steering removed
    Autometer water temperature and mechanical oil pressure gauges
    new interior and top
    140 MPH speedometer
    Range Rover EFI alternator
    fuel tank chemically cleaned and sealed
    clutch master & slave cylinder and brake master rebuilt by Apple Hydraulics

    Future Plans:
    larger front wheel bearings
    Wilwood front disc brakes
    narrowed 8.8" Ford rear with limited slip differential and disc brakes
    adjustable rear shocks
    Rover/Buick Stroker Engine with:
    Rover 4.0L/4.6L cross-bolted block and
    Willpower single plane EFI intake manifold
    ported Buick 300 heads
    Harland Sharp roller rockers with end stands
    Buick 300 crankshaft
    aluminum flywheel
    custom Erson solid flat tappet cam

    The auto meter gauges ? Are they in the dash pod??

    Oil pressure gauge replaced the clock and the Autometer coolant temp gauge replaced the original.
