I will be picking the TR8 up in the photo this coming week. It has been setting for over 15 years and was built as an improved touring race car. The car will be totally disassembled and rebuilt.
    Including the following:
    1. Existing cage will be connected to the front strut towers and extended aft
    2. Engine redone - Undecided what direction I will go
    3. Transmission
    4. Differential
    5. Group 44 body kit
    6. 4-wheel discs

I currently race a 84 Anson Formula Atlantic open wheel car and the TR8 will be a great addition to my 78 Ferrari 308 and my 99 Porsche Carrera.

I am very much looking forward to this project and the input from the forum.

Awesome find and looking forward seeing it progress. Let us know if we can help out with the group 44 body kit.

    Thanks

Very cool, looks like a fun project. Is it a factory 8 or was it converted? If it has a VIN number it would start with ACN or TCN if it came from the factory with the 8 cylinder. Also more pictures would be appreciated.

    Clint,

Thank you for the reply. I will certainly be contacting you regarding the body kit and I am sure many other items. I first need to get the car home and start a total disassembly.

    Paul,

Thank you for the reply. I am picking the car up from a friend and will verify the VIN number. I do believe it is a factory 8. I will post more pictures when I get it home.

    Hi Tim

I have a bunch of information on TR8 coupes and a list of over 200 known coupes that I can share. Just send me an email to macdonaldp at rogers.com if you are interested.
