  1. #1 Project 84: Original TR8 Coupe Restoration Project - Lots of Pictures
Restoring this for a customer. Just came in after not being driven since 1984! Car belonged to J Kaplan who was a long time Triumph & Jaguar dealer in Providence Rhode Island. Car was then owned by Jim Favreau before coming into the hands of the current owner.

Thanks to Paul MacDonald for some additional facts!

Stay tuned for updates and project progress as we restore the car.

Woody is doing a fine job getting this one back on the road. Heard the motor run for the first time last week. Can't wait to drive it! Would like to post pictures of the before and after of what he has done under the bonnet. Any body offer help on how to put the pictures up? Thanks, Jim

Looking really good. Car is coming along nicely and is going to be awesome when it is done.

Tyler should be updating with a few more pictures shortly as well.

    Thanks

Thank you Tyler for all your hard work! I see my new radiator is in , looks great. Trying to find a set of 205/55/13's to put on the original rims. Anybody know a source for finding 13" tires? Any recommendations on tire size. Not ready to jump into the 15x7 rims with the brake upgrade just yet, but hate to drive it with the 30 year old tires that are on it, Thanks, Jim

So glad I listened to Woody and had the headers coated. They look fantastic! A little bling under the hood and functional too!Name: IMG_2079 (1).jpg

13 in tires are tough to find, which is why most people are going to the 15's.

    Thanks
