  1. #1 Project Astral - Triumph TR7 V8 Track Car Build
The Wedge Shop rescues another one! This car will be turned into a track/auto x/hill climb car.

Car is an early 80's TR7V8 conversion. It has Turn Six sway bars and springs along with a dual Ansa exhaust system. We almost forgot about how great this setup was when it first came out and wonder how many people remember that stuff?

Car is off to the body shop later today. The idea is to build a potent 3.5lt (Like this one), upgrade the shocks (Gaz Struts), braking system (Wilwood Kit), install roll cage and a set of compomotive ML's with a sticky compound tire.

Keep an eye on the thread as we will continue to update it throughout our progress!

    Hi Clint,

The information on the YouTube page say ".20 overbore", did you mean .020 over, or are these much larger pistons?

OK, thanks. I was going to call you on it being a 3.5 liter if the bore was now 3.7"! Sounds about like what I'm building, then.
