The summer is in full swing here in New England. The last few weekends have been great and we have attended a few cars shows in the area.

For those of you not on our mail list and didn't hear about our special offer on our Strut Brace and Heavy Duty drive shaft, you are in luck. I am extending the June 30th deadline to receive $50 off each of these items until July 15th, 2010.

We also did some testing over during the month on our Wilwood Front Brake kit.

Three runs were done on each with a minute in between each run. There were 2 people in the car each time with a total weight of around 270lbs.

Results: Stock front brakes average stop distance 107 feet.
Results: Wilwood front brake kit average stop distance 80 feet.

You can see how the aluminum calipers really come into play. Each run with the Wilwood setup was within three feet of each other. The stock TR8 brakes began to fade drastically after just 1 hard stop cause the steel calipers and non vented rotors could not dissipate the heat. Our Wilwood kit actually performed better each run.

We added a new tech write up over in the technical section on installing a cam in your TR8]. It is basic, but should be helpful for most people out there.

We are in the process of doing a detailed technical write up on installing our Maradyne 14 Fan kit as we speak, so keep an eye out for that.

As always we would like to thank all of our loyal customers who support us. You enable us to provide the community with things like this forum, our website and technical write ups!

Thanks
