What shows are you guys planning on going to this year. The Wedge Shop is looking for a show to rally the troops on during June, July or August of this year.

Anyone have any shows in mind?

Having the following close by is a plus:
    • Road Race Course
    • Dragway
    • Great driving roads

    Thanks

Bob, Looks like we might skip out on Roadster this year. It is quite a drive for us (12+ hours) and the event has become much smaller over the years.

Looking at location and requirements we might be heading to Carlisle PA on June for the GM show. While we don't quite fit in, the show is big and there is a dragway about 1hr 20mins away that is open to the public on Friday nights.

    Carlisle GM Nationals Jun 21 - Jun 23, 2013 - http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/gm-nationals/

    Beaver Springs Dragway - http://www.beaversprings.com/index.html

We should have 5-10 wedges there.

    Thanks

Clint..you mentioned Carlisle...why not the Imoprt and Kit Cr Nationals. TONS of LBC's (and others) from around the globe. I usually go with the North American Spitfire Squadron. There are usually at least 10 or so 7's and 8's on the show field in the British Cars area. NASS has had the same spot on the field now for nearly 12 years.... we even show up in the drop down menu for club affiliation on the Carlisle web pages.
1800+ cars in 2011 and even more than that in 2012!

Have you considered the Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen Intl. Sept 6-8?

    Along with http://grandprixfestival.com

    Drive the original road course.

Now that I looked, the Lime Rock Historic Festival Aug. 30 - Sept 2 would be closer for you guys.

Thanks for those suggestions. The big show we usually go to in the September time frame is the British Invasion in Stowe, VT.

We have decided on going to the British by the Sea show in CT on June 2nd. Details will be posted shortly!

    Thanks
    Clint
